Scott leads the Technology Service line for StratVisor. Scott has over 20 years of consulting & industry experience, of which the majority
have been focused on the real estate industry (Deloitte & Touche, BearingPoint, The Buxton Co., & The Abbey Co.). Scott.s initial exposure
to technology in the workplace occurred while working for the Executive Office of the President in Washington, D.C. While in the role of a co
mputer specialist, he earned a Meritorious Service Award from the Office of Administration. Most recently, Scott was the Director of Corporat
e Operations for a Long Beach-based commercial real estate company, where he managed all functions related to business and infrastructure sup
port to include IT, Document Management, Building Security, and Vendor Management. He is experienced in tenant representation and market ana
lysis, with a strong focus on retail expansion, merger & acquisition, consolidation and demographic drivers. Some of his clients included P
ier 1, 7-11, Heilig-Meyers , JP Morgan Chase, and Cash America. In addition, Scott specializes in improving the site selection process, optim
izing portfolio management and selecting technology innovations to improve operating efficiency. He has led multiple Commercial Real Estate b
enchmarking studies around site selection and occupancy costs.
Scott is an Adjunct Faculty member at Webster University and at the International American University. He teaches graduate level courses such as Organizational Behavior and Operations/Supply Chain Management. Scott is on the Orange County Advisory Board for CoreNet, is active in the Orange County chapter of the Project Management Institute where he maintains the PMP certification (Project Management Professional) and is a frequent writer for Realcomm's online newsletter. Scott earned his Ph.D. in Organization and Management with a specialization in IT Management. His dissertation centered on the acceptance and use of technology by commercial real estate companies. Scott also maintains an active Texas real estate broker.s license and is in the process of obtaining a California real estate broker's license.
